1. Introduction

Maillog Richter & Weiner GmbH, located at Talpagasse 1a, 1230 Vienna, attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data. In accordance with relevant legal regulations, such as the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Telecommunications Act (TKG), Maillog guarantees careful handling of personal data, its confidential treatment and security.

This privacy policy explains the scope, nature and purpose of the collection and use of your personal data by Maillog in connection with the visit and use of our website maillog.at. 2. Definition of personal data

2.1. By personal data we mean information that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person, such as name, e-mail address or IP address.

2.2. Maillog only collects the personal data that is necessary for the provision of our services or that you have voluntarily provided to us.

3. Data collection when using the website

3.1. We collect and store the following data when you use our website:

  • Referrer URL (website visited before and after)
  • Number, duration and time of page views and language settings
  • Search engines and keywords used
  • Browser type, device type, screen resolution, internet service provider and operating system

This data, also known as log files, is collected automatically using cookies (see 6.)

3.2. When you contact us via our contact form, e-mail, telephone or fax, we process the personal data you provide for the purpose of processing your inquiry and for any follow-up questions, in accordance with our (pre-)contractual obligations or on the basis of legitimate interests.

Use of the data

4.1. Maillog processes your data exclusively for the purposes covered by your consent or by GDPR-compliant provisions. An exception is the anonymized use for statistical purposes.

4.2. Your data will not be stored by Maillog for longer than is necessary to fulfill contractual or legal obligations or to defend against possible liability claims.

5. Transfer of data to third parties

5.1. It may be necessary to forward your data to third parties in order to fulfill your order. This is done exclusively in accordance with the GDPR, in particular for order fulfillment or based on your prior consent.

5.2. Your personal data collected via the website will not be passed on to third parties by Maillog, unless this is necessary to fulfill our obligations or required by law/authorities.

6. Cookies

This website uses cookies to make the website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that your browser stores. They make your website visit more pleasant. We use cookies to improve your use of the website if you have consented to this. Otherwise, we only collect anonymous data about your visit, for example to determine the total number of visitors.

7. Google Analytics

7.1. With your consent, our website uses Google Analytics from Google Inc. This analysis tool collects aggregated information on user behavior using cookies. The data generated by cookies is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA or other countries outside the EU and stored there.

8. Your rights

8.1. As a data subject, you have the right to information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients as well as the purpose of processing. You also have the right to rectification, data portability, objection, restriction of processing and blocking or erasure of incorrect or unlawfully processed data.

8.2. Please notify Maillog of any changes to your personal data.

8.3. You can revoke your consent to the use of your personal data at any time. Requests for information, deletion, correction, objection and/or data transfer, provided that these do not cause disproportionate effort, can be sent to the Maillog address given below.

8.4. If you are of the opinion that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection claims have been violated in any other way, you can lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority.

9. Reporting of data breaches

Maillog endeavors to identify data breaches at an early stage and, if necessary, to report them to you or the competent authority without delay, including the categories of data concerned.
